Overview
Nag Tibba, translating to “Serpent’s Peak,” is a majestic trekking destination in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India. Standing at an elevation of around 9,915 feet, Nag Tibba offers panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks, including Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, and Gangotri.
The trek begins from Pantwari village and leads through dense oak and deodar forests, opening up to vast meadows. Nag Tibba is adorned with a small temple at its summit, dedicated to the Nag Devta (Snake God), contributing to its name. The trek is known for its accessibility, making it a favorite among both beginners and seasoned trekkers. Nag Tibba promises a perfect blend of adventure, natural beauty, and a sense of accomplishment at its captivating summit.
Itinerary
- All assemble at the given meeting point.
- After the initial introduction with the group, we started our journey to Pantwari village, which is the starting point of the Nag TibbaTrek.
- Reach Pantwari by noon.
- Freshen up and lunch will be provided at Pantwari.
- Start trekking from Pantwari village to Nag Tibba Base camp.
- Reach the base camp, upon arrival at Nag Tibba Base Camp we serve Evening snacks ( Tea and Pakorda) followed by Dinner and overnight stay at camps.
- Overnight stay in the camps.
- Early morning , wake up around 2:30 Am to mesmerizing beauty and fill yourself with breakfast.
- Start your trek at 3:00 Am to Nag Tibba summit at 3084 mt. Reach nag Tibba top and witness the stunning view of Himalayan Peaks.
- Start descending and walk all the way down to base camp. Get served with mouth watering lunch at base camp. Then start the descend to Pantwari village.
- Reach Pantwari and start your journey towards Dehradun.
- Reach Dehradun by 7-8pm then depart for Delhi via private bus. Reach Delhi by early morning.
