Overview

Kanatal, situated near Tehri Dam in Uttarakhand, India, is a serene hill station offering a perfect blend of tranquility and scenic beauty. Surrounded by lush forests and perched at an altitude of around 8,500 feet, Kanatal provides breathtaking views of the Tehri Dam and the majestic Himalayas.

The Tehri Dam, one of the largest in Asia, adds to the allure of the region. Visitors can enjoy boating in the Tehri Lake, surrounded by the pristine charm of the hills. Kanatal, with its pleasant weather and panoramic landscapes, serves as an ideal getaway for nature enthusiasts and those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Itinerary

DAY 0: DELHI /CHD TO DHARAMSHALA | OVERNIGHT JOURNEY

The group will meet at the pick-up point.
After group briefing and trip captain introduction, we’ll head out for an overnight journey to Kareri village.
Halt for dinner (personal expense).

DAY 1: ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES & SURAKHANDA DEVI TEMPLE VISIT

Reach Kanatal & have breakfast.
After check-in into rooms, get fresh n up for Adventure
Activities, and visit to Dhanaulti Eco Park & Surkanda Devi Mandir.
After that back to property high tea will be served.
Later enjoy dinner at night with a bonfire and light music.

DAY 2: TEHRI LAKE (WATER SPORTS ACTIVITIES)

We’ll reach Dharamshala by the morning and from here, we’ll head straight to Kareri village via taxi.
Freshen up your breakfast in Kareri Village.
Post breakfast, we’ll head out for Kareri Lake.
On reaching Kareri Lake, we’ll check into our campsite and lunch will be served here.
After reaching there, explore the site and a nearby Lord Shiva temple.
Dinner will be served in the evening followed by an overnight stay in Kareri Lake
