Overview

Prashar Lake, nestled in the lap of the Dhauladhar Range in Himachal Pradesh, India, is a pristine alpine lake that captivates with its natural beauty and spiritual aura. Situated at an altitude of around 8,900 feet, the lake is surrounded by lush meadows and dense forests.

The highlight of Prashar Lake is a floating island that changes position within the lake. The three-storied pagoda-style temple dedicated to Sage Prashar adds a touch of mysticism to the landscape. The trek to Prashar Lake offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks, making it a haven for nature lovers and trekking enthusiasts. The serene ambiance and untouched beauty make Prashar Lake a perfect retreat for those seeking solace amidst the mountains.

Itinerary

DAY 1: PANARSA TO JWALAPUR TO PRASHAR LAKE

Arrival in Panarsa through Volvo
After reaching Panarsa, rooms will be provided for freshen up and breakfast will be served.
After breakfast, transfer to Jwalapur village In cabs (25 Km) After reaching Jwalapur our local trek guides will brief you about the trek. Start Trek towards Prashar Lake (~9kms). you will be provided with packed lunch.
Experience a beautiful sunset at Prashar Lake. Check-in at camps followed by snacks, bonfire and Dinner
Camping under the Stars.

DAY 2: PARASHAR LAKE TO PANARSA DEPARTURE TO DELHI/CHANDIGARH

We’ll start with an early breakfast followed by checking out from the campsite.
Visit Rishi Parashar temple and lake in the morning.
Afterwards, We’ll trek down to Jwalapur.
Lastly, we’ll board again for Delhi / Chandigarh for an overnight journey.
We’ll reach Delhi/Chandigarh by morning.
The group will disassemble here and leave with a set of happy memories, and more.
